QUESTION: What will heaven be like?

ANSWER: 1 Corinthians 2:9 --- "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him."

EVERYTHING IN HEAVEN WILL BE BRAND NEW!
Revelation 21:1 --- "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea."

Isaiah 65:17 --- "Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will no be remembered, nor will they come to mind."

GOD WILL CREATE A NEW JERUSALEM
Jerusalem means "founded by God."

Revelation 21:2 --- "I saw a Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband..."

NEW JERUSALEM WILL BE THE BIGGEST CITY EVER BUILT
Revelation 21:15-17 --- "The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and as high as it was long. He measured its wall and it was 144 cubits thick, by mans measurement, which the angel was using."

A Greek "stadia" = 607 ft. The city will be 1,380 miles big, each way!! The walls (216 ft. thick) will be made of jasper (Revelation 21:18)

Jasper has a light blue-white color. It has been said that blue is a cool, soothing color that gives one a feeling of infinity - never ending. God made the sky and ocean blue, for a reason.

HEAVEN WILL SHINE WITH THE LIGHT OF GOD.
Revelation 21:23 --- "The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp."

Revelation 22:5 --- "There will be no night there - no need for lamps or sun - for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever.

WHO GETS TO GO TO HEAVEN?
Matthew 5:3 --- "God blesses those who realize their need for Him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is given to them."

John 3:16 --- "God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life."

IS THERE REALLY ONLY ONE WAY TO HEAVEN?
John 14:6 --- "Jesus told him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father but by Me.' "
